WTH Happened to Feeling Full
Today is my 18th day after surgery and I've been hungry all day, no I've been HUNGRY! I feel like I could eat a cheeseburger and fries and wash it down with an ice cold Pepsi. This feeling started Friday and has not stopped. I'm staying under 1200 calories and getting my protein but I don't like this feeling. I'm starting to wonder if there's a band there at all. The doctor said I should be ready for a fill in four weeks but in the between time what do I do? I think I need a fill now. I confess - a Pepsi sounds soooooo good but I'm 45 days clean and I don't want to mess that up.

I'm sooo sorry that you are hungry. :(
ReplyDeleteDo you have a Lap Band or a Realize band? Realize bands have no fill at all until the 1st fill.
I got 4.5 ccs in my Lap Band at time of surgery.
Call your surgeon to get a fill sooner.
I have the realize band so no fill at all. I was fine then bam hunger! I'm trying to make good choices but I could eat anything but I won't
DeleteHang in there, it will get better once you have a fill!! xx
ReplyDeleteoh no!!! keep hanging in there!!! i know how frustrating that feeling is!
ReplyDeleteJust eat your protein and I hope that it will be enough to hold you til that next fill. Try adding fiber, as it will help to fill you up as well!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck it will get better!
What has your doctor realeased you to eat? I had to have really runny mashed potato with stock cubes mixed in for protein.
ReplyDeleteIt does get better as you start getting fills but for now you have to tough it out. We all go through it but there is an end.
Don't do it! I wish, wish, wish I had not fallen off the wagon once I was over my addiction to cola.
ReplyDeleteIt should get better for you once you get a fill.
